New Ecuador Team Poster Released

One of the points of this poster was to ask for people to choose a youth in particular to sponsor and support with prayer and/or finances. Each team member needs to raise $2500 for this trip (much of that for the service projects in Ecuador), and we are asking for your help. Every little bit helps. Please contact Erin Laird (using the link on the left sidebar of this page) if you are intersted in doing so.

Engagement?

Simon Goff says it is 'living out your identity in Christ... always... everywhere.' Pretty simple eh?
But it goes pretty deep too. Check out the link to the left that says 'What is Engagement?' Click on it and you can download a simple one page document that teaches you about Engagement and why it has everything to do with Mission:Unlimited and our lives as Christians. We'll be explaining it better utilizing this document when M:U gets going but this pretty much sums it up.

What is Mission:Unlimited?
Mission:Unlimited (M:U) is a Leadership Training Program for the youth of Lambrick Park Church. It is an integral part of Youth Ministries here at LPC and is designed for those aged 15-18.
Core Focus:
1) Leadership
2) Service
3) Engagement
Mission Statement:
Through Mission:Unlimited we seek to grow teenagers into servant leaders who will actively engage God's world both lacally and glabally.
For 2007, Mission:Unlimited will be taking place weekly on Thursday nights starting February 1 and continuing until April 26. Because M:U is a course focused on servant leadership, we will be taking part in many service projects throughout the year. Each enrolled student must take part in at least one service project over their school's Spring Break. We will provide many opportunities but students are free to find there own as well.
